Summary of Role:

The ESD/Latchup/eFuse cell development team which is part of GF's Technology Enablement team is searching for a spring 2022 intern. The high-level description of the position will include evaluating RF ESD devices and evaluating RF metrics and characterization techniques across many of GF's RF technologies.

This internship position will be based out of our Essex Junction, Vermont site or could be a remote position supporting technologies across GF globally.

Essential Responsibilities include:

  • Design ESD RF devices through MPWs and TCAD
  • Characterize ESD RF devices
  • Compact model simulation of ESD devices focusing on key RF metrics such as harmonics, etc.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.


Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Education - Currently a Junior or Senior level pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience - 0 years
  • Travel - 0%
  • Language Fluency - English medium/advanced
  • Physical Capacity Demands - none
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education - Completed a BSEE and a current electrical engineering graduate level student
  • Experience - Device design, ESD design, device characterization, TCAD, compact modeling
