We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Support Specialist to join our talented team.

Position Description:

In this role you will provide EOD expertise and support in a variety of functions for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA)

In this role you will....

  • Provide Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) expertise
  • Provide support preparing and conducting symposia, workshops, meetings, and conferences
  • Provide administrative oversight to support the EOD Steering Group for Nuclear Weapons chair
  • Provide administrative support for explosive ordnance disposal related studies, evaluations, and inspections
  • Update and revise explosive ordnance disposal specified and implied tasks in US Government nuclear weapon recapture and recovery directives, plans, and other authoritative documents
  • Coordinate and conduct EOD related nuclear weapons incident response training exercises to custodial and other incident response units
  • Acquire and use OSHA Approved safety equipment when required by duties
Experience Requirements:
  • Requires extensive recent EOD experience in planning, coordinating, and executing senior leader level oversight.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent additional experience (4 years)
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Active TS Clearance
