ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

* Undertaking Assigned Tasks: Collaborate with team members and assist them with various tasks, such as data collection, analysis, and administrative duties.
* Data Collection and Analysis: Participate in data gathering, interpretation, and analysis. You'll learn how to extract meaningful insights from data to support engineering projects.
* Administrative Support: You will help manage day-to-day operations by responding to emails and assisting with paperwork. Your organizational skills will be valuable in ensuring smooth project execution.
* Project Coordination: Contribute to project success by ensuring timely task completion. You'll work closely with experienced engineers to understand project requirements and milestones.
* Equipment Design and Improvement: Collaborate on designing or enhancing equipment and machinery to improve efficiency and reliability.
* Installation Assistance: Assist with physically installing machinery and equipment as needed. Assists in developing and qualifying new products, processes, and machinery.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

* Enrolled as a rising junior, senior preferred, undergraduate student.
* Pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related field.
* 3.0 GPA or above.
* Familiarity with mechanics, electricity and magnetism, material science, chemistry, manufacturing, and design is a plus.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Conversational in any other language preferred.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
* Strong interest in pursuing a career in Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
* Able to lead, participate in, collaborate, and advise cross-functional project teams.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS

* ASTM F-2412-2005, ANSI Z41-1999, or ANSI Z41-1991 rated safety toe shoes in specific areas.
* Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety-rated glasses in specific areas.
* Hearing protection in specific locations.
* Ability to compile with JSA in specific areas.
