Electrical Maintenance Technician - Now Offering $1,000 Sign-On Bonus*

A member of the department's operating team, capable of independently performing all duties, including operating/using complex electrical tools, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains electrical systems and equipment.
- Works from circuit diagrams and SOP's, when available, and recommends alterations to Lead Electrician or other appropriate departmental personnel.
- Recognizes operational irregularities on equipment of processes, accurately determines the cause and takes appropriate corrective actions.
- Assists Lead Electrician with providing training to other departmental personnel/apprentices/co-ops/2YD.
- Adheres to procedures, compliance with safety requirements, environmental and waste disposal procedures/ regulations, and correcting any violations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Must have completed at least five years of industrial electrical maintenance work or relevant military experience is preferred, or completion of an Materion approved Apprenticeship Program.
- Shift work may be required.
Pay Range: starting pay $38.63 per hour
*$500 at 30 days, $500 at 90 days tenure
The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
