EHS Coordinator

The EHS Coordinator assists in the development and deployment of best in class EHS programs, systems and processes. Works with facility leadership and senior EHS professionals in complying with federal, state and local EHS regulations. Maintains an effective communication process with the locations operational and maintenance organizations and acts a technical EHS resource for site personnel.

You Will Have the Opportunity to:

• Assist facility leadership with the execution of EHS programs and regulations. Responsible for providing guidance on compliance with all relevant OSHA regulatory requirements.
• Conducts audits to ensure OSHA compliance. Participates in incident investigations and develops corrective actions.
• Responsible for assisting the facility in complying with Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act and hazardous waste regulations.
• Understands compliance requirements for all air permit assessments and completes applications for new sources or source modification with assistance from senior EHS professionals.
• Implements relevant OSHA regulations including but not limited to: beryllium standard, radiation safety, confined space entry, lock out/tagout, machine guarding, mobile equipment, personal protective equipment and material/chemical handling as well as relevant EPA regulations including: Air and water permitting and compliance assurance, environmental reporting for air water, hazardous and solid waste.
  

Requirements:

• A Bachelor of Science degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree and 0-1 years of experience.
• A Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant EHS field, preferred.
• Experience implementing compliance strategies with OSHA and EPA regulations, preferred.
