WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Tealium is seeking world-class pre-sales Solutions Consulting (SC) leadership to join

our Americas sales organization. The SC Director position is based in the United

States and is responsible for hiring, development and allocation of all pre-sales

Solution Consulting resources within North America, driving strategic customer

growth, interacting with senior technologists and business leaders both internally

and on the client side, and leading technical initiatives. SC Directors leverage

technology strategy, tactical expertise, and digital marketing acumen to support

Tealium's sales efforts by positioning our cloud based, SaaS solutions against those

of our competitors while translating the technical merits of the solution into value

for clients.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

Directly manage a team by identifying, communicating, and discussing team

goals and objectives

Provide strategic product/service advice and technical guidance to sales

representatives, partners, and prospects

Manage, motivate, hire, develop and engage the Tealium SC team

Contribute field knowledge and feedback to direct future product

requirements/enhancements, and associated input on prioritization based on

real world experience with Tealium customers and prospects

Enhance pre-sales demonstration environments and materials

Engage with sales and colleagues in ongoing knowledge sharing and subject

matter growth

Drive strategic growth and demonstrate thought leadership throughout the

team

Facilitate the free flow of ideas within the team

Mentor team members to encourage career development and foster skillset

adaptation

Serve as a senior technical resource for customer related issues, assisting

with advanced customer applications

Document team processes, work results, and manage all corporate processes

associated with operational aspects of the SC team management

Review quotes, RFIs, and Security Assessments

Oversee all customer engagements in the regions under management,

facilitate the delivery excellence of the SCs for each Opportunity and support

associated Sales teams.

WHAT YOU BRING TO TEALIUM

Must be located in the U.S.

BA/BS degree or equivalent related work experience

5+ years' experience managing direct reports within a Solutions Consulting

or implementation engineering environment.

Candidates should have experience with one or more solutions within:

Customer Data Platforms, Tag Management Systems, API platforms,

Display/Social/Email/Search Marketing platforms, Decision Engine or

Workflow Automation, Demand or Supply Side Platforms (DSP/SSP), Data

Lakes and/or Warehouses, BI tools, Content Management Systems (website

design and deployment), Master Data Management Systems, Consent

Management Platforms, Content Optimization, Multivariate Testing or

Experimentation, Personalization Tools, Fundamental REST API and SDK-

based programmatic understanding, Cloud Storage Platforms and associated

technology (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Snowflake).

Presentation skills and experience that demonstrates technical proficiency,

digital marketing knowledge, business, and communication skills

Ability to assess customer requirements, identify business problems, and

demonstrate proposed solutions

Understanding of modern Sales Process, Cycles and methodologies.

Management/Decision Making/Problem Solving Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to encourage teamwork and involvement of less experienced

individuals (providing them with necessary exposure)

Understanding of competitive sales environment

Time management skills

Professionalism in attitude, conduct, and appearance

This position does (not) have direct supervisory responsibilities.
