As one of our fantastic support engineers, you will be part of a team responsible for supporting large-scale, highly-technical, internal products. You will be embedded in a team of internal product engineers, where you will be: creating self-service content, answering frontline support questions and working on product roadmaps.

Developer Support Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and triage support questions and support requests from Meta engineers.
  • Document and build on developer support processes and workflows, provide feedback, plan improvements, drive success.
  • Work with doc team, engineers, product management and engineering leadership to deliver customer feedback and highlight patterns that can help prioritize product features or bug fixes
  • Perform bug fixes and other coding tasks as needed.
  • Ability to write, edit, and follow technical documentation and run-books to independently research and resolve customer issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in computer science, technical writing, physics, mathematics, or chemistry or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience in technical support, technical documentation, and/or developer outreach for a developer audience or equivalent experience.
  • Technical understanding of the general development process of writing code, testing and releasing to production.
  • Experience to think critically and problem-solve, rapidly assess, analyze and resolve or troubleshoot issues and distill into clear and concise communications.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Fluency in English and proven communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
  • Work collaboratively and independently while managing multiple assignments and/or responsibilities.
