Job Summary
Providing additional support to the Desktop Support Team in their hardware migration project.
Job Description

As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will provide on-site end user support to PC, device, and peripheral issues, as well as resolve connection issues via phone and email. This position will be temporary and onsite in Trenton, NJ.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for hardware/software troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Responsible for hardware inventory management
  • Supporting user migrations and equipment rollout
  • Imaging hardware and equipment
  • Performing software installations
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

What You'll Need

Required:
  • 4+ years' professional work experience with Dell/HP PC hardware configuration and troubleshooting
  • 4+ years' professional work experience with Windows 10 OS configuration and troubleshooting
  • 4+ years' professional work experience with MS Office 365, Teams, Outlook (user profile setup, end-user trouble ticket resolution)
  • 4+ years' professional work experience with SCCM for computer imaging (for device configuration)
  • 4+ years' professional work experience with SCSM for trouble ticket resolution and workflows
  • 4+ years' professional work experience with Xerox multifunctional device

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor.
