RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking a Database Analyst Specialist to join their team remotely. This position will be supporting D1 LFI Implementations FCB project.Summary:The Digital One Technical Delivery Implementations team builds and delivers customized client solutions based on microservices architecture for containerized cloud-ready infrastructure. The development stream leverages Agile methodologies - our team's role is to build source code and promote artifacts through to releasable status. We are focusing on pipeline automation of everything - builds, tests, scans, configuration, database and deploys - with metrics collection.Duties:- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database applications using PL/SQL
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements
- Design and implement efficient database structures, indexes, and constraints
- Perform database tuning, optimization, and performance monitoring
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and user manuals
- Recommends and assists in the selection, evaluation and implementation of new database technologies and software tools to assist in maintaining the database environment
- Develops, documents, and implements; Standards, guidelines, direction and education on database process/procedures for application teams as well as database staff
REQUIREMENTS:
- This candidate must have these qualifications/top 5 skills: Oracle PL/SQL development/troubleshooting (must be current, most important skill); Oracle relational DB's, table and data structures; Oracle development tools, executing and writing scripts; Good understanding of QA testing and DevOps best practices; Database automation tools and techniques
- Extensive skill and proficiency in PL/SQL Development on Oracle platform
- Demonstrated competency of the Senior Database Administrator role is required
- Works independently with only administrative supervision on highly complex projects with extensive latitude for independent judgment
- Expected to be the primary mentor for others on the database staff and is a role model for the rest of the team
- Effectively communicates with all levels of technical and non-technical personnel
- Ability to provide communication on issues or complex information to a wide audience based on knowledge of as well as a strong understanding of interface points between departments within TSG and application teams
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
