Senior Analyst, Data Visualization

Who You'll Work With:

The Account Leadership Team drives strategic direction and initiatives for our account leaders across the organization. We accelerate innovation and learning, aggregate offerings and customer stories, and amplify a One Slalom voice to the customer. The Data Visualization Specialist works directly with our client teams to identify business drivers, define KPIs and unlock valuable insights from vast quantities of data using a variety of modern business intelligence tools. They also work closely with colleagues in the practice to build end-to-end data products. We seek people who are inspired by effective information design with an eye for creating high-impact dashboards and visualization tools that answer some of the leading business challenges our teams face today.

The base salary pay range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000. The targeted base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location. What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with business and technology users to analyze user requirements and define data visualization programs
• Deliver world class dashboard and analytics solutions using Microsoft's PowerBI and Snowflake
• Build, create, and implement reports and dashboards in PowerBI using Slalom's best practices
• Provide idea generation, best practices, and standards required to deliver effective and sustainable visualization solutions to our team.
• Write calculations using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
• Work with SQL and Power BI Dataflows to extract, transform and load data
• Create functional & technical documentation related to Business Intelligence solutions
• Provide thought leadership, best practices, and standards required to deliver effective solutions to client teams.
• Participate in Slalom's BI Community of Practice meetings, best practices and solutions

What You'll Bring:

• Progressive work experience in the field of Business Intelligence, Information Management, consulting, or work in a relevant industry role with specialty in data visualization.
• Demonstrable proficiency with PowerBI.
• Intermediate data modeling skills to create performant and scalable solutions
• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written/oral communication and presentation/interpersonal skills.
• Highly self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Proficient knowledge of SQL, including the ability to write syntax, tables and views.
• Knowledge of relational and dimensional database structures, theories, principles, and practices
• Strong data storytelling experience. Ability to consolidate data analysis into visual presentations.
