The Analytics Developer / Lead uses Power BI and Microsoft SQL databases to specify, create, and deliver the organization's actionable reports and dashboards. Working with all departments, this leader will get a thorough understanding of the industry and be able to serve as an internal advisor on how to use data to best meet operational, administrative, and customer-facing objectives.
What You Will Be Doing - Serves as the IT representative for the business for all analytics needs, working with the data management team.
- Collects the specifications for new reports or dashboards, records the suggested approach, and receives formal permission from the requestor.
- Serves as a subject matter expert on the data and is able to describe any gaps or difficulties with the data.
- Construct / maintain financial and operational reports and metrics using PowerBI
- Edit, develop, test, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports as needed.
- prove customer satisfaction and retention by providing insights into usage patterns and outcome improvements that demonstrate the value of our services.
- Import/export files for data analysis, maintaining data integrity.
- Manipulate data in PowerBI using the capabilities of Power BI, including DAX.

What You Need for this Position - Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and implementation of reporting / analytics applications utilizing advanced databases and independent operating platforms.
- Subject matter expert on Power BI and proficient with DAX.
- Experience with pharmacy data, insurance claims data and/or healthcare data is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of database environments.
- Experience with SQL / SSIS / SSRS / SSAS and scripting languages a plus.
- Expert-level analytical and financial modeling skills and strong data skills required
