Meta is looking to hire a Data Analyst, Privacy Trends, Monitoring & Reporting, to help build and execute on our Business Intelligence initiatives within our Global Privacy Program.

Data Analyst, Privacy Trends, Monitoring & Reporting Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross-functional partners, including program managers, software engineers, data engineers, and data scientists, to provide trend analysis and insight generation, by way of dashboards, ad-hoc data pulls, and regular business reviews.
  • Apply expertise in quantitative business analysis, technical systems familiarity, and presentation of data to identify trends and opportunities in improving privacy outcomes.
  • Conduct complex, cross-product investigations and root-cause analyses involving multiple stakeholders across Meta
  • Summarize and communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Work with cross-functional teams (legal, policy, product engineering, data science) to drive improvements to policies, processes, and products across teams.
  • Explore data to generate hypotheses about business improvement opportunities
  • Create reports that clearly communicate issues and risks both from a technical and business perspective
  • Build and maintain metrics and dashboards to address business needs
  • Serve as a privacy data advocate and subject matter expert for the company
  • Understand the privacy needs of internal and external stakeholders, regulators, and auditors.
  • Communicate findings, feedback, recommendations, and potential solutions
  • Influence product teams to adopt findings and integrate solutions into existing products


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in program management and data analysis with a demonstrated track record of leadership in execution of large-scale technical programs
  • Experience working with and influencing a wide range of global and cross functional stakeholders
  • Expierence to leverage databases to conduct quantitative data analysis, identifying insights and trends
  • Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools (SQL, Python, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience with building and editing dashboards based on business requirements
  • Attention to detail and experience creating high quality work products suitable for executive-level review
  • Experience in communicating and collaborating with product development teams, engineering teams and privacy/compliance teams
  • Experience to generate insights from data, and communicate trends and analyses effectively


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in program management and data analysis with a demonstrated track record of leadership in execution of large-scale technical programs
  • Basic proficiency with programming and/or scripting languages such as C++, Java, Python, PHP, Javascript
  • Familiarity with Governance, Risk & Compliance concepts
  • Familiarity with Privacy concepts
