We are seeking a dynamic Customer Service Representative that enjoys doing more than entering orders. Job Tasks
- Oversee all aspects of the customer ordering process to include but not limited to: processing new / change orders in ERP SAP System, confirming lead-time, price, and order acceptance to customers.
- Assist customers (internal & external) by answering inquiries about orders, shipments, products, and the company.
- Provide assistance to customers (internal & external) by responding to complaints and by gathering required information from both to ensure proper Corrective & Preventative Actions.
- Oversee creation of shipments in ERP SAP System, aid logistics, shipping, inventory on delivery requirements, and proactively interact with customers to let them know the location of their material, the delivery status, and issues that may have risen.
- Prepare overseas shipping documents to ensure smooth delivery of products to customers and to actively manage the shipment to ensure on time delivery.
- Provide assistance to customers by sending them all required documents such as certifications, safety data sheets, and country of origin documents.
- Process sample requests from customers and work with internal partners to ensure the creation and timely delivery of samples.
- Meet and greet clients and visitors when they are here for plant visits.
- Create and modify documents and utilize workflows using Microsoft Office.
- Perform clerical duties that can include electronic document management and document retention.
- Support staff in assigned project-based work.
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Licensures, and Certifications)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in Customer Service Role
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with SAP or other ERP system preferred
