Job Description:

This position is an "essential" connection between our customer and Delta's business. Daily transactions performed in customer(s) SAP System and data entered into Delta's system for customer export and domestic shipments. Understanding of inventory transactions, movements, and ability to reconcile frequently. Strong internal and external customer communication skills are required (via email and phone). Ideal candidate has a positive attitude, willing to help other team members and be proactive.

Major Responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain data in ERP and SAP system(s).
  • Reconcile and communicate any differences between Delta ERP system and customer SAP system.
  • Pulls orders from Customer SAP and processes in Delta's ERP system for domestic and export shipments.
  • Generate and compile customer shipment documents (Labels, COAs, BOLs, SDSs)
  • Delta completes production and process/enter the production in customer SAP.
  • Arrange carriers (FTL and LTL) and schedule appointments with multiple warehouses.
  • PGI shipments in customer SAP system, once order has shipped from our warehouse.
  • Schedule inbound inventory deliveries and coordinate with warehouse.
  • Follows mandated company safety practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Educationand Experience:
  • High School Graduate
  • College (preferred) or 5+ years customer service experience.
  • 1+ year SAP and/or ERP system experience.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • SAP/ERP knowledge and use
  • Expert communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word)
  • Detail oriented
  • Understand shipping requirements and regulations
