Contract to Hire HR Assistant in Exton - up to $25/hour!

Our client, a leading manufacturer in Exton, is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join their team on a contract to hire basis! The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll and human resources, creating the perfect opportunity to combine both worlds!

About You:

• Bachelor's degree is required
• 1+ year of human resources experience or exposure, or an interest in HR. Internships count!
• Multi-state payroll experience, Paychex experience preferred
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word
• Incredible organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication, showcasing professionalism and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Day to Day:

• Supporting the HR department as required
• Processing multi-state payroll biweekly using Paychex
• Maintaining employee records to reflect the correct job information and pay rates
• Organizing new hire paperwork, benefits, and verify 1-9s
• Maintaining knowledge of procedures and all related laws and regulation related to payroll
• Updating the company's internal spreadsheet with accurate and up-to-date personnel files

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to utilize their payroll and HR skills! This role is paying up to $25 an hour when temporary and $26 an hour when permanent, depending on experience. This role will operate on a hybrid schedule after training.
