What You Will Do

The Continuous Improvement Manager spearheads plant-wide initiatives to eliminate waste, improve efficiency, and drive sustainable cost savings. By providing guidance and resources, they empower Plant Managers and employees to select and manage Lean projects effectively. From leading cross-functional projects to fostering a culture of continuous improvement, they ensure alignment with corporate objectives and drive measurable results. Through coaching, facilitation, and communication, they promote a problem-solving mindset and leverage best practices to optimize plant performance. Job responsibilities include:

  • Ensure awareness of Global Supply Chain CI requirements among plant leadership.
  • Develop and execute high-impact improvement plans aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Drive cross-functional Lean and Six Sigma projects to deliver cost-effective solutions quickly.
  • Innovate and implement engineering solutions for processing efficiency challenges.
  • Analyze plant data to identify operational opportunities and propose process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with leadership to analyze key performance indicators and drive CI implementation.
  • Foster a problem-solving and CI culture to enhance operational excellence.
  • Conduct reporting and root-cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead improvement activities to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Organize CI events such as Kaizens, 5S, Kanban, and Root Cause to eliminate waste.
  • Facilitate CI workshops and ensure effective utilization of CI tools and resources.
  • Develop and execute communication plans to educate employees on continuous improvement.
  • Coach teams in CI concepts and standard work practices to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Share and apply best practices from other locations to optimize performance.
What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Process Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Engineering Degree.
  • 5+ years' experience leading Lean Transformations and Six Sigma in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in Lean principles and deployment planning.
  • Hands-on experience with modern Continuous Improvement methods.
  • Knowledgeable in manufacturing process improvement techniques.
  • Strong team-building and project management skills.
  • Effective communication across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership and influence.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle multiple deadlines.
  • Hands-on experience with various improvement methodologies, including Kaizen, DMAIC, 5S, Kanban, and Root Cause.
  • Experience in molding operations and electrical background.
  • Preferred Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
