Content + Social Media Marketing Specialist (Content Creator)

Hybrid Position



Purpose

A Content and Social Media Marketing Specialist (Content Creator) oversees and executes content for Maxim’s various marketing platforms including but not limited to, social media, website, marketing campaigns, sales collateral, and Email marketing. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this position is responsible for creating engaging visual and written content and possessing the creative and technical skills to deliver various kinds of content across multiple digital marketing channels. As a part of the Marketing team, the Content Marketing + Social Media Specialist (Content Creator) is a self-starter that thrives in a high-paced environment with a focus on developing effective creative executions while managing multiple projects and marketing channels. department.



Duties and Responsibilities

A Content + Social Media Marketing Specialist (Content Creator) is responsible for but not limited to the following:


* Collaborates with the marketing team to develop and execute social media content strategies aligned with our brand identity and marketing objectives.
* Produces high-quality visual and written content, including but not limited to images, videos, graphics, infographics, captions, and blog posts optimized for various social media platforms, sales collateral, Maxim’s website, and other marketing channels.
* Monitors social media channels, responds to comments, and messages and engages with our online community to foster meaningful interactions and build brand loyalty.
* Stay updated with social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to ensure our content remains relevant and competitive.
* Develops visually compelling narratives that convey our brand message and resonate with our target audience.
* Maintains a content editorial calendar to plan and schedule posts, ensuring consistency and timely delivery.
* Monitors and analyzes social media performance metrics, such as engagement, reach, and conversion rates, and provides insights and recommendations for optimization.
* Collaborates with the paid advertising team to create compelling ad copy and visuals that align with our organic social media content.
* Maintains and upholds the company's brand voice, tone, and style guidelines across all social media platforms.
* Collaborates with cross-functional teams, especially sales, operations, and human resources, to assist with content execution and ideation.
* Works on special projects to help achieve the objectives of the department.
* Travels domestically to different Maxim locations for training and development purposes.

Requirements

Education


* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business related field, Communications or equivalent work experience

Experience


* At least three years of Marketing experience focusing on creating digital content and implementing campaigns that drive revenue growth.
* Portfolio with examples of job-related experience.
* Experience with photography, videography, and graphic design.
* Thorough knowledge of social media platforms and the creative tools and posting processes, including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and X (formerly known as Twitter). Experience with design and video editing software (Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.)
* Experience with WordPress, Google Analytics, and/or Salesforce Account Engagement



Skills


* Excellent communication skills are required to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and write simple correspondence.
* High-level proficiency in MS applications
* Advanced ability to problem solves and make sound decisions during high-pressure situations.
* Advanced level multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
