The Consumer Insights Intern will work with several cross-functional teams including marketing, research and development, on-site suppliers, sensory, and analytics.

Consumer Insights at Tyson Foods is the team that acts as the voice of the consumer within the organization. The team is focused on understanding consumer perceptions and how consumers behave to drive business decisions that benefit company growth.

The team leads work to provide consumer insights learning, to build the brands, influence planning, and drive innovation.

Successful applicants should be inherently curious, have an impulse to seek new information and experiences and explore novel possibilities.

As an intern, you will gain experience in working with cross-functional teams to build best-in-class insights.

This position offers exposure to leadership principles and networking opportunities across various enterprise business units.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Actively enrolled in an undergraduate as an incoming Junior, or Senior, graduate degree program at an accredited university required. Students seeking a degree in Business, Marketing, related degree preferred.

Experience: Previous work experience, demonstrated interest in marketing and insights / consumer research

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, including outlook, and basic understanding of the internet.

Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively; excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Special Skills: A successful candidate for an Intern position should possess the following: Be a motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn from others; ability to work independently or as part of a team; strong problem-solving skills; time management and multi-tasking abilities; and strong interpersonal skills.

Position-Specific Requirements: This internship is a summer role where candidates are expected to work in person full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer. This is a paid internship located at our Springdale, Arkansas World Headquarters.
