Construction Project Manager - Foundation/Levee/Retention/Ground If you are a Construction Project Manager - with experience, please read on!

We are looking to add a project manager to our team! Our client specializes in Dams/Levees/Foundation Elements/Retention Systems/Ground Improvements/Etc. so experience in these types of fields of construction is a must!
What You Will Be Doing 1.Plan, organize and staff key positions in coordination with Area Manager and Operations.
2.Establish project objectives, budgets, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.
3.Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client and A/E contacts to facilitate construction activities.
4.Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent and Project Engineer(s) to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget, investigating potentially serious situations and implementing corrective measures.
5.Represent company in project meetings.
6.Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the companys interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with client.
7.Fully support current QHSE policies and regulations, ensuring that all Company and OSHA safety regulations are met and enforced

Knowledge
-Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control and ability to control and supervise large groups
-Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities

Skills and Abilities
-Superior interpersonal skills including excellent verbal/written communication
-Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance
-Team player, and able to get along with individuals from other groups within the organization
-Strong problem solving, analytical and organizational skills
-Thorough and systematic, and is able to effectively manage time and competing deadlines
-Able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
-Able to quickly learn new technology and business intelligence tools
-Motivated and eager to learn industry concepts
What You Need for this Position More Than 5 Years of experience and knowledge of:

- Civil Construction
- Deep Foundation Construction
- Heavy Construction

-4-year degree, preferably in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
-Minimum 5-6 years experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager in deep foundations projects and heavy construction
-OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training
-First-Aid/CPR
