What You Need for this Position - 5 plus years of commercial credit evaluation experience which can include commercial loan review, commercial underwriting, commercial lending, and distressed assets
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field of study preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build relationships
- Microsoft word and Excel experience
- Able to work with minimal supervision while meeting established production requirements and review schedule deadlines
What You Will Be Doing - Conduct commercial credit reviews to assist in the ongoing management of credit risk including analyzing adherence to loan policy and procedures, credit quality
collateral valuation, and loan documentation
- Confirm accuracy of core operating system as it relates to loan structuring, pricing, and documentation
- Provide specific reports needed to fully analyze credits in the portfolio
- Provide exceptional internal and external member service in alignment with MVP-1.
- Maintain knowledge of ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the position.
- Prepare loss mitigation plans and assist the supervisor in commercial loan workout strategies and presentations.
- Support the administration and operation of Distressed Assets policies and programs that further the strategic goals and objectives of the credit union.
