Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for a Coating Inspector to join our Projects team in Texas!
Duties to include:
- Able to assure coating yard(s) and field applications are conducted satisfactorily and all anomalies are repaired to meet project specifications
- Ability to monitor all pipe handling, procedures and determine the cause for any damage to coating; establish corrections to any problem areas
- Ability to monitor all coating damage repair
- Able to assure all Joint Weld coating is conducted properly
- Demonstrate ability to check for proper operating condition of all holiday detection equipment.
- Able to discuss any nonconformance with coating procedures with the Chief Inspector
Skills / Qualifications
- Five years of experience related to pipeline inspection facilities projects
- High school diploma or equivalent
