Cloud System Engineer IV

Salary: $115,000.00 USD Annually - $130,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Cloud System Engineer IV to work remotely with up to 60% travel across the United States.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• In this role, you will:
• Be responsible for designing and implementing the integration of IT systems and infrastructure during mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, assess existing IT landscapes, and develop strategies to ensure a seamless and efficient transition.
  
• Conduct thorough assessments of the IT infrastructure and systems of both the acquiring and target companies.
  
• Identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities related to IT integration.
  
• Design the integrated IT landscape, considering scalability, security, and performance.
  
• Ensure compatibility and interoperability of systems from both entities.
  
• Develop strategies for data migration and oversee the execution of data migration plans.
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• Master's degree is a plus.
  
• Possession of relevant Azure certification, preferably related to architecture. AZ-305 or AZ-400 highly preferred.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• In-depth knowledge of various IT domains, including infrastructure, applications, and data management.
  
• Strong project management skills.
  
• Proven experience in IT architecture with an emphasis on Azure cloud. Focus on mergers and acquisitions is a plus.
