Job Summary

The Client Contracts Specialist meticulously reviews and comprehends contract terms, ensuring alignment with federal and state laws as well as company policies on candidate qualifications and credentialing requisites. Moreover, this role entails collaborating with internal partners to interpret and implement contract terms and conditions relevant to candidate qualifications and credentialing standards.

This role is tasked with curating and revising an E-book along with auxiliary reports used by Clinical Leadership and team members to maintain uniformity in the application of standardized requirements for all clients.

Job Tasks:
  • Reviews all client contracts (3rd Party, Direct, Managed Service Providers, and Associate Vendors) for all divisions under the direction of the Regional Clinical Leader to ensure consistent language with company standards of practice as defined by the Center of Excellence.
  • Organizes and prioritizes new contracts, renewals, addendums, and amendments to ensure timely processing and completion of assigned activities.
  • Communicates to Clinical Leadership when ad hoc requests are submitted with insufficient documentation and/or approval for processing.
  • Collaborates with Compliance Auditor and Clinical Leaders to ensure accurate interpretation of federal, state, and facility-specific requirements.
  • Collaborates with Compliance Auditor to interpret new regulatory and/or accreditation requirements that may impact the industry and present proposals to management to determine the appropriate action to be taken.
  • Communicates requirements clearly to 3rd Party and Direct Clients, clarifies facility requirements that may be different, and negotiates to eliminate those differences.
  • Maintains accurate documentation of all communication with clients and customers in the centralized system.
  • Promotes Clinical Management Organizations as industry experts and demonstrates service excellence to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively engage with internal functional teams, and customers as required to ensure the successful completion of contract responsibilities.
  • Builds candidate qualification and credentialing requirements in all appropriate systems and on time.
  • Completes technology build and communicates results to appropriate leadership in Clinical and Credentialing Operations.
  • Proactively identify & mitigate all risks to achieve target completion dates.
  • Provides support to the assigned region and Clinical Leadership as needed for ad hoc events or special projects (Strike events, Electronic Medical Records projects, State audits, etc.).
  • Assists with workflow development and/or implementation and other quality-related activities.
  • Produces metrics for compliance projects and achieves productivity targets as designed by Clinical Leadership.
  • Demonstrates ability to manage complex issues while maintaining a flexible positive, cooperative demeanor; adaptability to meet periodic changes in departmental needs. Promotes direct, honest, open, and timely communication.


    Minimum Experience:
    • 3 + years of experience with compliance and/or credentialing systems
    • 1 + year of experience in the health insurance industry or project management
    • 2 + years of experience with contracts, analytics, and/or auditing

    Certifications:
    • Six Sigma (yellow belt) Certification | Preferred
    • IT and/or Compliance Certification | Preferred

    Key Skills
    • Sales/Negotiation Skills
    • Sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft Office and Salesforce
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Qualifications
      Education & Years of Experience
      • High School Diploma/GED plus 2-5 years of work experience

      Additional Experience
      • Experience in customer service within a fast-paced work environment
      • Experience working with Master Service Agreements, Addendums, and Purchase Orders
      • Project and contract management experience
      • Experience working in a corporate setting

      Work Environment / Physical Requirements
      • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
      • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

        Pay Rate
        $18.25 - $21.50 Hourly
        Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
