Bonus: $3,000, $1500 at 3 months and $1500 at 6 months

Reports to: Chief Medical Officer/Medical Director

Essential Functions of Position:

•Ensure that the nursing staff is trained in the latest best practices in their field.

•Create a culture of collaboration among all members of the nursing team by fostering relationships within the program services areas.

•Oversee clinical operations, including staffing levels, patient satisfaction surveys, and quality of care provided by nurses

•Develop policies and procedures for nursing staff to follow that are aligned with organizational goals and values

•Ensure that nurses have the tools and resources they need to provide quality care to patients

•Provide leadership for nursing staff by setting an example of excellence through daily interactions with staff members

•Oversee the hiring, firing, training, and disciplining of nurses on the staff

•Review and update nursing standards of practice and guidelines for nursing care

•Develop nursing goals, objectives, and policies in conjunction with the Chief Medical Officer

Skills and Requirements

•Master's degree in nursing strongly preferred.

•Currently licensed as an RN in the state of Massachusetts

•At least five (5) years senior level management experience.

•At least three (3) years of substantial supervisory and management experiences.

•Knowledge of the principles and practices of management, including supervision and performance feedback, planning, budgeting, organizing, directing, motivation, controlling and decision making.

•Ability to manage a diverse workforce and the ability to embrace diversity as a strategic advantage.

•Substantive knowledge of the guidelines of Quality Improvement in healthcare.

•Utilization of Human Resources in a creative/flexible manner

•Ability to work effectively with oversight agencies as well as federal and state certification agencies.

•Organizational skills and the ability to motivate and supervise staff, analyze complex problems and issues, and design workable solutions.

•Capacity to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing to various levels of management and clinical staff.

•Thoroughness, independence, and excellent written and oral communication skills.

•Proficient usage of Microsoft Office and Google Suite products

•A COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement of the position. One COVID-19 shot is acceptable, contingent on the individual receiving the second shot within the allotted time frame.
