RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cash Management Specialist in Mulberry, FL.Summary:The Cash Management Specialist will be responsible for reconciliation of retail stores' daily cash and credit card receipts to bank statements and correct all differences on a timely basis using reconciliation software. You will monitor daily scheduled jobs in reconciliation software and resolve problems through communication with stores, banks, and credit card processors.Essential Functions:- Reconcile store cash and credit card bank accounts to corporate records using reconciliation software
- Research and clear outstanding items within reconciliation software by communication with retail stores, banks, credit card processors, and management
- Update and maintain accurate bank account information for assigned treasury partners
- Monitors scheduled import jobs, messages, and bank calendars to ensure that jobs run correctly and communicate with BAI file banks to ensure accurate and complete data transmission as needed
- Provide support to retail stores and internal departments
- Report practices or issues noticed in assigned accounts that violate corporate policy or procedures
- Resolve internal work orders in a timely manner
- Assist with solving systems and balancing issues
- Support supervisor with year-end process
- Other duties as assigned, including some mail handlings, sorting, and filing
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma/GED
- One year or more of general accounting and practical experience with bank statement reconciliation or similar experience
- Ability and desire to work with numbers
- 10-key proficient and accurate data entry skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with dealers, customers, management, outside entities, and other personnel by telephone or through written communication; Assimilate information and make decisions; Work under pressure in a detailed, organized, and professional manner
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to determine appropriate accounting entry to correct errors and omissions
- Ability to work on multiple tasks, navigate easily between multiple systems and perform detailed research
- Ability to maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward internal and external customers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel spreadsheets
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
