Buyer - Procurement, Purchasing, Manufacturing, ERP/MRP If you are a Buyer with solid relevant industry experience inside a manufacturing organization, please read on and get in touch as we need this experience ( listed specifically below) for a role in the area just North of Hagerstown, MD.

PLEASE NOTE - While we would PREFER an onsite candidate, we can offer a HYBRID work situation with both an ONSITE and WFH mix, assuming the fit, experience is a solid match.

The Buyer is responsible for procuring goods and services from designated suppliers to support manufacturing at our manufacturing/industrial facility.

I this role, the ideally qualified candidate will bring with them:
---> Previous Purchasing/Procurement experience in a BUYER role, ideally 3+ years of experience.
---> Candidates MUST HAVE a completed Bachelors Degree, as a minimum.
---> Previous applicable Buyer experience inside and ONSITE ideally, at a manufacturing facility, but there is an option for HYBRID work.
---> Experience working with MRP/ERP Systems, with PRIORITY consideration given to those with SAP specific experience, and even MORE of a priority given to those with the experience/ability to accurately forecast packaging and direct material requirements to support the production plan utilizing SAP MM.

Key to succeeding in this role will be the ability to accurately forecast packaging and direct material requirements to support the production plan utilizing SAP MM.

In this role, your role duties will include:
---> Reviewing production schedules, supplier lead time.
---> Reviewing safety stock and min/max levels for inventoried items
---> Processing, verifying, purchase requisitions for expense items
---> A PLUS - Utilizing SAP MM to determine direct material requirements for Purchase Order (PO) placement
---> Actively working to support delivery of materials at the right place, time, and quantity to support operations.
---> Updating Master Data in SAP
---> CAPA / QUALITY CONTROL - Ensuring goods and services confirm to technical specifications
