Job Description Summary
The Business Analyst is responsible for providing business process and system analysis, as well as scope definition for the Cushman & Wakefield Deal Management initiatives. Responsibilities include helping ensure the project team can efficiently deliver solutions to our internal clients that meet or exceed expectations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Business Analyst will have the primary responsibility of helping to define and ensure that the Deal Management solutions support the stated objectives as defined in the program. As such, this individual will collaborate closely with the project team, respective stakeholders, and business subject matter experts to understand current business processes and translate new requirements into actionable solutions to achieve defined business unit business objectives, KPIs/success metrics.

The successful candidate will be collaborating with the business, program teams, and build team to define innovative technology solutions & process improvements to support business objectives, by clearly documenting business requirements, user stories, and/or use cases on paper and proof-of-concept configuration. A key focus of this role will be the deployment of new tools and processes into the business, and has such should be experienced in communicating with users to understand needs and convey requirements, constraints, benefits, etc. Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Work with the technology and operations teams to understand project objectives, priorities, timelines
  • Work with service lines and end-users to understand their business and champion solutions to meet their needs
  • Escalate risks, issues and roadblocks to the project team
  • Clearly document business and functional requirements
  • Define 'as-is' state for complex enterprise solutions, model 'to be' state, identify and assess gaps and propose improvements
  • Work with the business requesters to develop change, training and adoption strategies and tactics
  • Direct and participate in the creation of content (training materials, user communications, etc.)
  • Support internal reporting needs from the platform, and help identify data anomalies and deficiencies
  • Partner closely with program leadership to create executive briefings on key topics
  • Responsible for system control documentation.

Functional Skills

  • Good technical or business foundation to include an undergraduate degree in a Business, Information Systems or a related field.
  • Critical thinker/problem solver with logical thought process
  • Strong communication skills, including presentation development and delivery
  • Strong cross-team collaboration skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Stakeholder communication and expectation management

Business Experience

  • The successful candidate must be comfortable juggling multiple assignments and possess the agility and tenacity to collaborate and deliver on tight timelines with aggressive growth objectives.
  • Past experience working in a customer-centric company is strongly preferred. With a commitment to putting the customer first and providing world-class solutions, the successful candidate would benefit from having exposure to a similar culture and business model.
  • 10 years' experience implementing and deploying outstanding end to end solutions, with strong bias to Salesforce Cloud

  • A strong service and delivery mentality is required. Candidate must actively seek to understand internal and external customers' needs, perceptions, and show a "can do" attitude to make IT an enabling partner.
  • The successful candidate must have strong business acumen and intellectual curiosity. A passion for truly understanding the business and keeping it simple will be required to effectively integrate into the culture. An ability to translate client needs into the IT roadmap and strategy is critical.
  • Good collaboration skills are important. The successful candidate must be able to offer new ideas and help build support for making significant changes. Fostering an environment for open exchange, asking good questions, and listening to gain input and insight is expected.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are integral for success. Candidate must be a clear and concise communicator and must effectively communicate at Managerial levels and cross-functionally.
