Overview

This is a pivotal role within QSC Pro Audio Sales & Operations responsible for defining and implementing management reporting that includes key performance metrics, key business drivers, and improvement opportunities to ensure Pro Audio Sales/Operations strategy is in alignment with corporate objectives and initiatives. A Business Analyst is responsible for assessing company and coming up with solutions to improve company operations. Their duties include analyzing financial reports, market research and operating procedures, strategizing ideas to improve business operations and meeting with company executives and stakeholders to provide suggestions based on their analysis with gathered statistics/data/charts/graphs and drive company efficiency and profitability improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement key performance metrics for Sales and Operations organization
    • - ie. Sales revenue trend & projection, Spend analysis, On-time performance, Cost, Inventory accuracy, Margin improvement initiatives, etc.
  • Develop and publish monthly & quarterly management reporting for Sales, Supply Chain Operations and Product Development
  • Perform adhoc analysis for "what if" scenarios
  • Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to analyze and report business performance
  • Develop and implement statistical models and reporting tools to support Sales, Supply Chain and Operations analytics
  • Perform data discovery, analysis, and modeling
  • Analyze process issues and bottlenecks and to make improvements
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
  • Identify specific business and automation opportunities
  • Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders
  • Write clear and well-structured business requirements and documents
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications and work instructions
  • Assist with project management for selected projects
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a BS/BA degree or related experience in Business, Statistics, Finance, Supply Chain, Operation Management, etc
  • 5 - 10 years' experience working in business analysis, financial planning, supply chain / operations
  • Experience developing budgets and financial plans for a department, program and/or capital project
  • Strong understanding of GL structure, P&L business aspects & financial reporting
  • Excellent organizational, communication, collaborative and interpersonal skills
  • Strong focus on process/controls, analytical skills, with ability to problem solve and drive resolution
  • Ability to work with teams, cross-functionally, and contribute positively in projects, initiatives and business reviews
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and any BI tool; knowledge of Oracle preferred, but not required
