The Business Analyst - Market Expansion position will assist with the management of all financial and budgetary responsibilities associated with the functions of the Market Expansion organization. This position analyzes all meaningful metrics and data critical for decision-making and carries out all responsibilities in accordance with company policy, as well as standardized accounting procedures.

What you'll do:

  • Assists with the annual development of the capital budget projecting expenditures
  • Assists with the completion of all necessary steps required to complete the annual budget process.
  • Assists with the development of the monthly operations report, including financial analysis, field operations metric analysis, and consolidation of other departmental information.
  • Assists with running financial reports, monitoring spending, and overseeing invoice payment, contributing to financial management.
  • Provide mentorship to all field operations management personnel on financial matters, spending guidelines, budget adherence, etc.
  • Works closely with the Vice President of Network Expansion, ensuring that all data is maintained accurately, reports are generated in a timely manner, and the critical data required to make daily decisions is available to all end users.
  • Evaluates and makes recommendations for financial process improvements, to enhance operations performance and improve efficiency.
  • Completes special projects as assigned.

What we're looking for:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field

Experience/Skills Needed:
  • 2+ years' experience as a business analyst
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Ability to learn quickly, understanding organizational interdependencies and potential impacts to project planning or implementation
  • Comfortable working with large amounts of data and using software to manipulate it
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across functions and levels of an organization to drive teams toward success-based results
  • Experience identifying and documenting business requirements at multiple levels across complex projects impacting several systems and functional areas

Computer Skills:

Google or Microsoft suite knowledge, accounting software, general ledger, accounts receivable software, accounts payable software, Internet software, e-mail, order processing, inventory, and database software.
