Job Description
Bioanalytical Scientist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Provide scientific laboratory support for the design and execution of customized immunoassays such as ELISA, ELISpot, molecular and/or cell-based assays supporting licensed vaccine products
• Reagent preparation
• General laboratory upkeep, maintenance, and ordering of supplies
• Work according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidance
• Maintain accurate records in adherence with documentation standards
• Collaborate and communicate within and across the work group
• Work in a structured environment under direct to moderate supervision
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would possess:
• At least 1 year related laboratory experience
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate and real time records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• High sense of responsibility, accountability, and professional integrity
Additional Information
This position is Full-Time,Monday - Friday, 8a.m. - 5:00p.m. with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of West Point PAare encouraged to apply.
