Summary:

As a billing assistant, you must be accurate and reliable in handling accounts and documents. Being good at math and a high degree of organizational ability are essential due to the great amount of financial information. Since you will be using technology to expedite your work, a degree of computer knowledge is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:


* Enter all relevant data into accounting software
* Collect and sort all invoice, credit, bill, and order statements
* Draft invoice statements for customers as needed
* Utilize electronic, standard and certified mail services to deliver invoices
* Process payment through various channels
* Process bare rental contracts and insurance certificates
* Record and update all payment in accounting software
* Assist in miscellaneous office duties such as filing, inbound calls, and some payroll duties



Requirements and Qualifications


* 5+ years experience in a billing field
* Excellent computation ability
* Strong organizational skills
* Superb interpersonal skills
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Notably Excel
* Willingness to submit to a background check
