Roth Staffing is looking for a Sr. BI Analyst within the medical technologies firm. The BI Analyst will be responsible to develop, implement, and support with IT structure data to solve tangible business problems by creating ETL pipeline using Python or tools like, SQL Query, SSIS and DAX programming languages, creating Datamart and Data warehousing, perform data visualization using BI packages (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataflows) and applying statistical analysis tools like Minitab.

Job Responsibilities:
*Leads efforts to reengineer and optimize business processes and systems by assessing business needs and developing, proposing, and implementing technology solution options.
*Build and develop data visualization, tools, dashboards, and reports to improve business intelligence and meet business goals.
*Leads and manages enhancements and modifications to optimize business intelligence processes by coordinating with SME and identify new data requirements, analysis strategies and reporting mechanisms.
*Configures and tests systems to execute features, integration, and reporting.
*Collaborate with organization stakeholders and business unit users to analyze data sets to spot trends and patterns that can be translated into actionable insights and modelling and integrating visualization into Power BI by querying data from various sources like SQL servers, Oracle, Azure SQL, Excel, PDF, etc
*Understanding business questions that drive reports, listen to business questions and reporting requirements to create one-time reports and dashboards that provide data driven answers that helps making business decisions.
*Write sophisticated SQL with a preference for well-architected data models, optimized query performance, and documented code.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
* 5-7 years experience required
*Strong ability to manage and deal with different cultures and nationalities
*Substantial understanding and knowledge of enterprise information systems such as ERP, PLM, CRM, QMS, etc (such as JDE, SAP, Pilgrim) preferred
*Experience with FDA guidelines for Software Quality and Systems Validation required and is a plus
*4+ years of SQL experience, should be able to write complex queries including, stored procedure, creating indexes, CTE's, Functions, and query optimization.
*4+ years of Power BI experience with creating and publishing reports, DAX queries, M-code, Data Flows, Power App, and Power Automate.
*Strong experience using Power BI with on premise and cloud data sources, including Oracle, and SQL Server.
*Strong experience in performance tuning of Power BI reports and SQL with large volume data sources.
*In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
*Highly Proficient with Microsoft Excel
*Should be able to create ETL pipelines in SQL, Python or tools like, SSIS, Azure data factory.
*Proven expertise in usage of MS Office Suite
*2+ years of experience with python.
