Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for a seasoned software engineer with a passion for leading high-performing teams. Do you have a strong background in Software Engineering, .NET development, a deep understanding of API integrations in the insurance industry and experience or understanding of COTS products? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team as an Engineering Lead.

Technical Leadership:

  • Lead and build a team of talented software engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of insurance-related applications.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Manage the full software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.

Insurance Industry Expertise:
  • Leverage your deep understanding of the insurance industry to contribute valuable insights and domain knowledge to the team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to drive innovation in our solutions.

Software Development:
  • Hands-on coding and development using .NET technologies, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

API Integrations:
  • Design and implement robust and scalable API integrations to connect various systems within the insurance ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure seamless integration of third-party APIs.

Team Building:
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop top-tier engineering talent.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation within the team.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Insurity or other low code insurance products/platforms.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in .NET development.
  • Strong background in the insurance industry, with a deep understanding of insurance products and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing software development teams.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing API integrations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Experience in cloud-based development and deployment (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Certifications in relevant technologies or project management.
