*Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 + performance*
Founded in 1986, we are a global tech house that has the most advanced design, test & verification labs in the IT, Engineering and R&D space. We specialize in product development & innovation for IoT related project and due to growth & demand we have the need for a Software Tools Engineer.
You'll be in between optimizing the audio experience & the SW teams working on the DPS & algorithm development. *You will create tools that make it easy to tune the algorithms by presenting relevant parameters in a GUI & allowing to adjust settings to tune after the parameters.* You will be involved in prototyping & evaluating new audio technologies.
What You Will Be Doing 1) Work w/ acoustic & audio systems engineers to define, build & test tools for audio signal processing algorithm tuning
2) Develop & maintain tools / infrastructure to optimize audio tuning by exposing parameters of audio-processing back end libraries in user interfaces
3) Create tools to visualize signal processing parameter settings w/ measured performance data to evaluate metrics
What You Need for this Position 1) Data analysis & programming w/ MATLAB, Python, C/C++
2) Familiarity w/ audio DSP
3) Familiarity w/ audio test setups
4) Interest in music production, hearing science & psychoacoustics
