Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Nephrology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Associate Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. The Division of Nephrology at the Children's Hospital is at the forefront of clinical care, teaching, and research. The Division is comprised of 15 faculty members and 9 clinical fellows, in addition to our team of nurses, administrators, social workers, dieticians, and research staff.
Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants must also be board certified/eligible in pediatric nephrology.
Teaching responsibilities may include the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as formal lecture opportunities.
Clinical responsibilities may include inpatient/consultation services and outpatient nephrology services including transplant clinic, fellows clinic, several multidisciplinary clinic opportunities, and dialysis. Outpatient nephrology services are located at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia-Main Campus and satellite locations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
3-5 years Nephrology Attending experience required.
