The Counseling and Development Program within the Department of Counseling, Leadership, and Educational Studies at Winthrop University is seeking an innovative faculty leader to serve in a full-time non-tenure track position. The faculty member will have experience as a school counselor and/or a clinical mental health professional, provide online and in person instruction to clinical mental health and school counseling students, supervision and management practicum and internship placements both in-person and virtual. Current licensure as an LPC in South Carolina, North Carolina or demonstrated eligibility for LPC in South or North Carolina is required. Duties include clinical supervision for master's level students, online and in person teaching, and collaboration with other units on campus. This position includes expectations of an active member of the core counseling faculty. The successful applicant will teach and advise master's-level students while serving on program and department committees.

The Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling tracks are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs (CACREP). Position is full-time, nine-month, non-tenure-track position. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experiences. Summer employment is likely with sufficient enrollments. This one-year, non-tenure track position may be renewed based on successful teaching and engagement in the program.
