Based in San Francisco, the Assistant Director, Innovation Programs, Lehigh@NasdaqCenter is responsible for leading the development and execution of innovation programs; providing support for strategic initiatives that advance our mission to educate, connect and inspire the next generation of global entrepreneurial leaders; and overseeing the execution of marketing and communication strategies for Lehigh@NasdaqCenter programs. Working under the direction of the Managing Director, this position will enable Lehigh@NasdaqCenter to achieve its goal of accelerating student transformation and societal impact through inclusive entrepreneurial education, research and thought leadership. 1. Innovation Program Management: In collaboration with the Managing Director and strategic partners, lead the development and implementation of academic programming (credit and non-credit bearing) and experiential learning opportunities offered through Lehigh@NasdaqCenter (L@NC)
*Manages the implementation of multiple projects, programs and initiatives, ensuring operational and strategic objectives of the L@NC and strategic partners are met
*Leads the planning and execution of high-impact learning experiences that foster entrepreneurial mindsets, skills and agency for Lehigh students across disciplines
*Administers all aspects of project management for key programs, including event coordination and logistics, defining, tracking and reporting on project milestones
*Leads the development and implementation of assessment methods to determine program impact and capture insights for further program development
*Participates in the ideation and planning of new programs or strategic initiatives distinctive to the Silicon Valley and global entrepreneurial ecosystem and in alignment with the L@NC partnership strategy
*Accountable for delivery of successful academic programs in close collaboration with strategic partners
*As appropriate, facilitate workshops, seminars and other educational activities relative to areas of professional expertise and in alignment with L@NC goals

2. Relationship Management: Serve as a liaison to academic and administrative departments on campus, as well as external partners, in the planning and implementation of L@NC programs and initiatives
*Coordinates and communicates effectively with program participants, including students and partners
*Provides transparent communication and reporting to the L@NC leadership team and strategic partners on specific programs
*Cultivates positive relationships with program partners and stakeholders and effectively manages these relationships to promote successful outcomes
*Conducts planning meetings with strategic partners to facilitate program design, implementation and assessment
*Serves as a point of contact and brand ambassador for L@NC to university faculty, students, staff, alumni and community members
*Represents L@NC through involvement in University committees and meetings
*Measures outcomes and impact of planned activities by soliciting feedback from program partners and participants

3. Marketing & Communications: Support the development and implementation of marketing and communications for L@NC programs
*Drive awareness of program opportunities and impact across key constituents, notably Lehigh students, partners and the community
*Collaborate with Managing Director, University Communications and other campus partners to assist with implementation of marketing and communications strategies that create internal and public awareness of L@NC programs
*Writes and/or edits presentations, reports, proposals, articles, marketing collateral for L@NC programs
*Leads the development and implementation of social media strategies for core programs that align to larger marketing strategy and objectives for L@NC
*Updates and maintains program content on L@NC web pages and social media channels
*Creates and delivers promotional presentations to convey information about L@NC programs opportunities and impact to community members
*Oversees the production of L@NC podcast
*Manages part-time marketing and communications interns

4. Support for Thought Leadership and Strategic Initiatives
*Provide support in the development and execution of L@NC strategic programs and initiatives across our three pillars of innovation (education, research, thought leadership)
*Participate in planning and ideation sessions and bring new ideas forward that help advance the strategic priorities of L@NC
*Create and share new knowledge and insights pertaining to the development and assessment of entrepreneurship education, using L@NC programs as living labs for research and development

This position is located in the San Francisco Office; relocation assistance is available

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Organizational Leadership or Education or equivalent combination of education and experience; Master's Degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Organizational Leadership or Education preferred

Five to eight years related work experience

Project Management training preferred

Experience with innovation and entrepreneurship education program management preferred

Curriculum design experience a plus

Detail oriented with proven track record of meticulous planning and execution of multifaceted programs

Ability to work in an entrepreneurial/startup environment and also with a large, matrixed institution

Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a high level of customer service required

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, time management and sound judgment

Solid analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills

Ability to build, foster and maintain positive professional relationships
Successful completion of standard background checks including but not limited to: social security verification, education verification, national criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, PATCH, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearance and credit history based upon the requirements of the position

All Lehigh faculty and staff are required to be fully vaccinated and receive a booster shot six months after their second vaccine; unless they receive an approved medical or religious exemption from the requirement.
