Job Description

• Gathers data and documents test results.
• Follows effective standard operating procedures to complete all job tasks.
• Reviews test results to ensure compliance with standards; reports any quality anomalies.
• Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements.
• Operate inside a GMP regulated lab space supporting pharmaceutical clinical testing.
• Participates in required training activities.
• Maintains laboratory supplies.
• Completes test records and reviews data.
• Follows good documentation practices in both paper logbooks and electronic systems.
• Calibrates or verifies calibration of instruments/devices prior to use.
• Interacts with outside customers or functional peer groups.
• May assist in validation of methods.
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptability, andapositive attitude.
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in biochemistry or other science related degree concentration, orequivalent directly related experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

• Experience with biochemistry assays and techniques such as:
  • Experience with ELISAs
  • Working with 96 well-plates
  • Serial dilutions
  • Working with small volumes with multi-channel pipette

Additional Information

Position is full-time, 1st shift Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, New York are encouraged to apply. Pay is between $26.25-28.25/hr and isdetermined based on relevant education and/or experience.
