Position Summary

This position's primary responsibilities include stakeholder communications and reporting, maintenance of compliance processes, supporting the employee loan programs, technology initiatives, and a variety of ad-hoc projects. This position requires close interaction and coordination with Partnership Accounting's Coinvestment team, Legal and Compliance, Human Capital Management ("HCM"), Fund Management ("FM"), and Global Technology Services ("GTS") on a wide array of confidential topics and initiatives.

Specific responsibilities include preparing stakeholder reporting, maintaining compliance processes for Blue Sky, Regulation D, FATCA/CRS, and other AML/KYC or regulatory inquiries, onboarding new participants, liaising with administrators of the employee loan program, facilitating systems enhancements, and supporting new fund solicitation processes. This position is also responsible for preparing and/or reviewing internal stakeholder postings and regularly assisting with a variety of ad-hoc projects and individual stakeholder requests.

Responsibilities

Stakeholder Reporting:

  • Consolidating data to assist in regular stakeholder reporting, including commitment confirmations, pending commitment summaries, third-party administered capital account statements, and summary of investing funds
  • Responsible for weekly outstanding reminders process
  • Collaborating with GTS to test and implement new reporting enhancements

Regulatory and Policy Compliance:

  • Preparing reporting for quarterly Regulation D, Blue Sky filings, and ongoing compliance requests
  • Replying to ongoing AML/KYC inquiries
  • Maintaining investor account records in accordance with regulatory and firm policy
  • Preparing semi-annual compliance audits and updating received information

Tax Support:

  • Supporting annual tax process and ongoing reviews of tax related documentation
  • Reviewing and remediating FATCA/CRS account information
  • Ensuring completeness of required tax withholding forms
  • Preparing and posting annual tax related deliverables for internal stakeholders
  • Interacting with various teams on tax support matters

Employee Loan Program Support:

  • Primary contact for employee loan program reporting to stakeholders, outstanding balances due and other matters
  • Stewarding on-going program enrollment, including coordinating between internal teams and loan administrators

Internal Stakeholder Postings Review and Contractor Oversight:

  • Preparing and posting daily transaction notifications
  • Supporting reporting and internal stakeholder publication processes
  • Supervising certain Contractor posting responsibilities, including prioritization and quality control (with VP and AVP oversight)

New Fund Solicitations:

  • Gathering offering documentation from internal sources
  • Maintaining investor account records according to solicitation eligibility
  • Preparing solicitation letters and communications
  • Confirming relevant required documentation is complete to accept requests

Ad-hoc Projects and Stakeholder Relations:

Other responsibilities/projects may include executing transfers, stakeholder-specific informational requests, and internal data requests related to other firm initiatives. Independently resolves second tier (i.e. moderately challenging/complex) internal stakeholder matters.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum 1-3 years relevant work experience or equivalent
  • Financial/analytical experience complemented by an understanding of the private equity and/or financial services industry is preferred
  • Compliance background/experience is preferred
  • Indirect supervisory experience is preferred

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting major is preferred

Position-specific Technical Requirements:

  • Ability to discuss and interpret highly sensitive and confidential financial information with peers and team leadership
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and deadlines
  • Accuracy and strict attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite usage, including Excel, Word, and Access
  • Technologically savvy. Comfortable learning and using new technology
  • Ability to conceptualize and manipulate large data sets in Excel for meaningful and clear presentation
  • Basic understanding of accounting, allocation management, and cash management principles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and oral) and ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team to ensure departmental and business needs are addressed
  • Ability to handle change in stride
  • "Can do" attitude and team-oriented approach
