Job Description

Position Overview

The Administrative Assistant, Renewable Development will support Invenergy in the development of utility-scale wind and solar energy projects throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

• Create documents and presentations, scan, fax, file, distribute mail and prepare mailings with special instructions, e.g., FedEx. Make travel arrangements; maintain calendars, complete expense reports.
  
• Office management duties including mail, maintaining supplies, cleaning office rooms, and managing office suppliers (copiers, water, etc).
  
• Assist with identifying development prospects, and assist developers in meetings.
  
• Effective handling of confidential data and sensitive information.
  
• Provide ad hoc project assistance such as interfacing with project landowners.
  
• Follow up on opportunities and set up appointments for business development team.
  
• Perform related duties as assigned.
  
• Submit purchase (ad change) orders
  
• Support contractor engagements (e.g. reconciling invoices with POs, drafting Service Orders, etc.)
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years' experience working in an administrative environment.
  
• Proficient in all MS Office software especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  
• Excellent communication and strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and solve problems.
  
• Professional, able to maintain confidential information and team oriented.
  
• Exceptional customer service skills, for both internal and external parties
  
• Able to prioritize assignments, multi-task, and re-prioritize assignments as needed.
  
• Strong initiative and focused on process improvement.
  
• Desire and aptitude to learn and understand the Energy/Utilities Industry.
