    St. Edward's University, a nationally ranked, independent Catholic university and Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach Immunology during the Fall 2024 semester (mid-August - mid-December, 2024). St. Edward's is characterized by its commitment to the Holy Cross educational mission to educate the hearts and minds of a diverse student body that is deeply committed to social justice.

    Successful candidates will develop and deliver an undergraduate immunology course for junior and senior biology majors. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to supporting a diverse student body.

    For consideration, candidates must possess a master's degree or a minimum of 18 graduate hours in biology or a related field. A PhD in Immunology or related field is preferred.

    Essential Responsibilities Include:
    • Teaching an upper-division Immunology course for Biology majors in the Fall 2024 semester. The course meets in-person on the St. Edward's campus, from 8-8:50 AM, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

    Applicants will be reviewed as they are received. Adjunct faculty are appointed to teach a particular course or courses on a semester basis and are not eligible for promotion, tenure, or fringe benefits. Although adjunct faculty may not be assigned courses each semester, the department maintains a list of active adjuncts who will be contacted when appropriate teaching assignments are available.
