What We're Looking For:
Barge Design Solutions is currently seeking an Accountant to support project administration and accounting processes.

The responsibilities of this position include:

• Support monthly project invoicing and collections and assist other billing staff.
• Support daily accounting transactions including daily cash receipts and project adjustments.
• Work with Project Managers to open, administer and manage projects.
• Support journal entry preparation, review and approval and reconciliation of accounts.
• Perform other duties as required.

Education & Experience Qualifications:

• Accounting or Finance bachelor's degree from an accredited program.
• 2-5 years minimum experience in accounting or project control.
• Microsoft Excel/Office Suite proficiency required.
• BST experience a plus.

Skills and Attributes

• Solid financial and administrative background.
• Attentive to details and skilled in interpreting financial metrics.
• Able to work under regular deadlines.
• Flexible and receptive to process and procedure changes as the company grows.
• Adept interpersonal skills, being able to communicate and interact with a wide range of employees.
